JVS school to work programs expose high school students to a variety of career options, as well as employment expectations and employability skills training. Career & Educational Planning
For any student who is unsure of their career goals, or how to accomplish them, JVS Career Counselors offer guidance and information on career choices, college programs and admission policies, as well as a complete Occupational Resource Library in Southfield with a wide range of information on education and career planning.

JOIN (Jeanette & Oscar Cook Jewish Occupational Intern Program)
Each year, Jewish college students are eligible to gain paid summer work experience. Students work closely with professionals in human services, marketing, program planning, research and other key areas of the organization. Contact join@jvsdet.org

JELS (Jewish Educational Loan Services)
If financial aid from schools or the general community is insufficient, JELS is a source of interest free loans for Jewish students in metro Detroit who attend undergraduate, technical or graduate schools full-time. Contact mberman@jvsdet.org.
