Paid internships available for college students (December 7, 2009, Southfield, MI) - Applications are now being accepted for the Jeanette & Oscar Cook Jewish Occupational Intern (JOIN) program next summer. The program offers eight-week paid summer internships to full-time Jewish undergraduate or graduate students who are residents of metropolitan Detroit. Interns work at Jewish nonprofit agencies in the fields of nonprofit business administration, marketing and communications, research and program planning, human services, community relations and human resources. Written applications for the JOIN program are being accepted and personal interviews will be held through January 29, 2010. JOIN is administered by JVS, a nonprofit human service organization.
