ANNOUNCEMENT OF STAFF OPENING FOR EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT JVS announces a staff opening for a full-time Executive Assistant in its Administration department located at the Rose and Sidney Diem building in Southfield. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Business preferred. Demonstrated ability in establishing, organizing and maintaining an efficient and effective office for CEO. Ability to relate to a wide variety of people with diplomacy and in a manner that reflects favorably on the Agency and Executive Office. Seven years related experience in an administrative position which required the exercise of independent judgment and a high degree of confidentiality. Typing skills of 60 wpm; excellent shorthand or some functional system of speedwriting proficiency. Proficiency using word processing software (preferably MS Office) and database software. Reasoning, math and language skills per Agency normed tests. Sufficient composition skills to prepare required correspondence. Ability to handle tasks below with considerable independence. EXEMPT STATUS: This position is exempt from overtime pay provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
