ANNOUNCEMENT OF STAFF OPENING

HR Solutions Group, a subsidiary of JVS announces a staff opening for a
full time
Clinical Director at Guiding Light Sober Living Treatment and Recovery in
Detroit.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree related field required. Limited License Practitioner and CAC required. Five years experience working with families, substance abuse, trauma and mental health. Experience facilitating group meetings. Knowledgeable of community resources. Computer skills and MS Office environment. Composition skills sufficient to prepare written materials. Interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate with staff and public.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. |
Provide direct clinical supervision for clinical and administrative staff.
Complete performance evaluations as required.
|
2. |
Interview clients, review records, and confer with other professionals to evaluate
individual’s mental and physical condition to determine the appropriate program
for participation.
|
3. |
Develop and review treatment plans, and evaluate client’s progress in relation to
measurable goals.
Modify plans as needed to comply with the changes in the
client.
|
4. |
Advocate for clients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations. Provide
client’s family members with information about addiction issues and about
available services and programs, and make referrals when necessary.
Addresses issues and
concerns which may arise for participating clients.
|
5. |
Coordinate counseling efforts with doctors.
|
|
6. |
Makes presentations at the therapeutic team meetings and clinical case
conferences as needed.
|
|
7. |
Facilitates the service delivery strategies including weekly client tracking overview for clinical purpose.
|
|
8. |
Monitor group, in conjunction with Therapeutic Management Coordinator weekly review of group log documentation and provide training as needed.
|
|
9. |
Monitor client chart documentation to ensure compliance with HIPPA, all state and federal laws, and rules and regulations.
|
|
10. |
Monitor the attendance tracking, census and enrollment via the Intake Committee.
|
|
11. |
Develops, maintains and educates other staff members about record-keeping policies that ensure comprehensive client care and that meet the guidelines of regulatory agencies.
|
|
12. |
Ensures staffing and adequate group coverage, including recruiting, developing and monitoring to ensure compliance with all standards.
|
|
13. |
Attend training sessions to increase knowledge and skills.
|
|
14. |
Prepare and complete required reports. |
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. |
Work involves the ability to work evenings, weekends as needed.
|
|
2. |
Work assignments will involve travel throughout the metropolitan area.
|
EXEMPT STATUS:
This position is exempt from the overtime pay provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
SALARY AND RELATED:
Salary is based on experience.
