ANNOUNCEMENT OF STAFF OPENING FOR CASE COORDINATOR JVS announces a staff opening for a full-time (40 hours per week) Case Coordinator in its Rehabilitation Services department located in Detroit. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, recreation, or related field required. One year related work experience in case coordination, training and assessment with individuals having developmental, emotional, and/or physical impairments required. Experience with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in counseling or advocacy with U.S. military service veterans preferred. Veterans preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Interpersonal and presentation skills sufficient to provide training, communicate effectively with participants, funding sources, and staff. Composition skills must be sufficient to prepare required documentation. Math skills sufficient to score and interpret testing instruments. Driving record must meet safe driving standards as established by Agency insurance carrier. Valid Michigan driver’s license. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

SALARY AND RELATED: Salary is based on experience. Benefits include a Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO or HMO for individual coverage. Family coverage is available under a premium-sharing plan. Option is available to substitute $1,560 per year in lieu of health insurance. Other benefits include vacation, sick leave, life insurance, long-term disability, and retirement when eligibility requirements are met.
