Community Adult Day Care Program A state-of-the-art program for individuals
with Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia, the
program is open to persons of all ethnic and religious backgrounds.
Activities include music therapy, baking, exercise, gardening,
and a wide range of community outings. The Program also provides
respite to the participants' caregivers, and support groups
assist caregivers with the resources and ability to keep their

caring professional staff
Our staff specializes in working with older
adults with dementia disorders. The team consists of a masters-level
social worker, activity and music therapists, registered dietitian,
program assistants and registered nurse supported by consultants
in medicine, psychiatry, psychology, podiatry and other professional
fields. The staff creates a warm, caring environment in which
each participant is treated with compassion. Individualized
attention is ensured by a high staff-to-participant ratio.
Location and Hours
The program is open Monday through Friday. Regular
program hours are 8:30 a.m. -- 3:30 p.m. Early or late hours
are available. Scedules can be individualized.
Caregivers Support Group Meetings
2nd Tuesday of each month at JVS at 1:30 p.m.
3rd Thursday of each month at Jewish Home and Aging Services
at 1:30 p.m.
